A lot of Brasil, which has as its core pillars: industrial Brazilian-ness, glocality, and sustainability, will present an unprecedented collection by the Campana Brothers in 2015.
Named 'Estrela,' the collection blends artisanal craftsmanship with high technology. In contrast to the traditional process where designers adapt their concept to industrialization, this first collaboration between Brazilian designers and the Brazilian industry reversed the process. The industry adapted its production process to fully represent the essence of the concept developed by the designers.
As a result, the collection is unprecedented both in its production and aesthetic aspects.
"In recent years, we have witnessed a significant Industrial Revolution, driven by developments in China and the global crisis. Thus, it is crucial for the industry and designers to collaborate in finding novel and unique solutions."
Upon seeing the collection, we decided to completely rethink the stand concept. It was necessary to have more than just a space in our stand for this collection; it required a stand that could embody the full ‘Campanesque’ atmosphere.
Consequently, the designers also created the stand design, aligning it with the pieces to be presented. The design evokes starfish, with metal pieces laser-cut but curved like a sheet of paper.
